Welsh Whisky & the Brecon Beacons National Park: The REAL Taste of Wales

On this experience of Wales a taste of the good life is guaranteed. From the coast to the mountains your route will take you from Swansea up to the Brecon Beacons National Park with two outstanding visits to get your taste buds tingling.

The Welsh Whisky Centre is at the foothills of the national park and it'll be where you’ll find a village with liquid gold - whisky flavoured. Called Penderyn this exceptional Welsh single malt whisky, which is also the name of this quaint place, will be the focus of your distillery tour and will allow you to discover (and taste) one of the country’s proudest exports. You’ll find Brecon Gin, Brecon Five Vodka and Merlyn Cream Liqueur delighting your senses too – all made at the same place.

Next to the uplands of South Wales which are dominated by a mountain range now called the Brecon Beacons National Park. So, as the setting sun silhouettes the hills, you’ll be soaking in the scenery of a land torn by glaciers and nibbled by sheep to visit your next place ... for a hearty Welsh dinner!

A fine night of Welsh food and drink awaits at a locally renowned restaurant, Pen-Y-Cae, nestled in a Welsh valley of green, green grass.

Dylan Thomas’ Swansea: The Actor’s Walking Tour
(WITH PERFORMING ACTORS!)

This unique, lively and entertaining Dylan Thomas Walking Tour is a chance to walk in the footsteps of Dylan Thomas through his “ugly, lovely town”, the city of Swansea. Absorb the iconic streets and corners of the city where he celebrated the characters of his youth through many works of poetry and prose. You’ll be in the company of local actors along the tour who’ll perform many of his famous poems in the very places that inspired him.

Follow your guide as you walk to these places that inspired this fun, quirky, irksome poetry and prose. Visit such familiar places as Captain Cat’s Statue, Dylan Thomas Square, Swansea Museum, Wind Street, Salubrious Passage, Castle Square, St Mary’s Church, Old Evening Post Building, Three Lamps, Kardomah Café, High Street, BBC Building, No Sign Bar and the Queens Hotel. Your accompanying actors will bring these places to life!

A tour of the stunning Gower Peninsula with its golden sandy beaches, rugged coastline and prehistoric wonders. A perfect evening awaits to discover Wales. Gower is Britain’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and by the end of the evening you’ll see why.

With fantastic views of the coast from cliff tops, coastal path walks and ancient stone-age discoveries this excursion will delight all newcomers to Wales.

Welcome to Wales and welcome to Gower! Join us for a brief but perfect excursion to the famous beaches and bays of south Wales and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty called Gower. It’s a huge peninsula near the city of Swansea and famed for its natural wonders, giving you many aspects of the whole of Wales in one special place.
